Published: March 31, 2010 Comment The second part of the roundup for March starts up with some robot brutality versus us humans, and ends up with five games from Konami. Highlights include a game taking inspiration from the stealth gameplay found in Metal Gear, and the arcade antics of Pac Man. The Konami games vary in quality, and one of them should be avoided at all costs. Lets get this month’s final entry going. Robot Rampage – crush kill and destroy everything! In Robot Rampage you get to be the villain, the big bad robot. The mission is unclear, but being a robot crushing cities can be a goal sufficient to sustain interest. The controls are all touch based, and combines touch and tap. Tap on the ground to walk left or right, tap next to the robot to stomp. Fire your incinerating laser by aiming, and dragging across

December 14th, 2009 Daniel Silva Yep it’s sale time again for Konami. Yes, all their games are on sale for $0.99. Crazy! I know right?! How many kart racers are in store? And of those how many are playable online? Konami attempts to answer both those questions with Krazy Kart. It’s the closest thing we’ll get to Mario Kart, but does it stand on its own? The multiplayer is still somewhat broken, but it’s no brainer at this price. Though it has received criticisms for having a gameplay NOTHING like the console version, MGS Touch remains to be the most sophisticated games we’ve ever played. It utilizes great graphics and rolls it with touch controls that just works for the device. Forget your knowledge about the console versions, and you’ll be fine. Full Games List: This is as cheap as these games can go, so if you’re interested in any of

By Jeremy Sikora, Friday, Nov 20, 2009 | If you are not familiar with our posts, they are a great way for us to point out a few good iPhone (and iPod touch) applications available in the App Store that are currently on sale, or ones that have come down permanently to a price that we feel are worth mentioning to our readers. Today we have some good news for all of you Konami fans out there. Konami has announced that every single game in the iPhone catalog is on sale for $.99 until November 30th. The titles are as follows: If you see any other great deals, let us know in the comments, or send them our way any time for inclusion in a future Apps for Less!

Save up to $5 on each game in Konami's impressive iPhone catalog. I once wrote for an app review site where the guidelines insisted price shouldn't factor into a game's rating. Nuts, right? That's like saying as long as you like the car you're test-driving, forget about the sticker. For a cheapskate like me, price absolutely matters, which is why I'm happy to see every game in Konami's iPhone catalog temporarily on sale for 99 cents each. That includes Metal Gear Solid Touch, which is widely regarded as one of the top iPhone shooters. It normally sells for $5.99 (and was $7.99 at launch). Other 99-cent titles include: These prices are good until Saturday (November 21), at which point they'll return to their previous levels: anywhere from $2 to $6. Most of Konami's games have earned pretty high ratings from users, but there are some--like Frogger and Power Pros--that I just

While the various news outlets of the web may have gotten readers a bit too ecstatic when hyping out the iPhone 5, truth is, there was no iPhone 5 come Apple’s annual press conference. One source says that next year’s iPhone, unofficially and presumably dubbed iPhone 5, will be a It seems that Apple decided to go ahead and give the go to iOS 5.0.1 earlier than we had initially thought. Releasing today, the update brings along multiple new minor features, the most significant, however, being the highly anticipated iPhone 4S battery patch. You’ll first dive into Junk Jack without a clue of what you’re supposed to be doing – running around, tapping on random blocks. Then when night falls, the monsters devour you, and by this time you’re frustrated. Even with the gorgeous pixel aesthetic, innovative controls that no other developer has I think that this product is truly great,

All of Konami’s iPhone and iPod touch games are on sale for $.99 for an unspecified amount of time. Yes, every single one. Even the games that were formerly priced at $4.99 and above are only $.99. Konami’s iPhone and iPod touch games collection could be considered hit and miss, but there are certainly a few gems on this list. Frogger has been priced at $.99 for a while now, but it’s still worth mentioning, and the same goes for Field Prowlers Police Rush. It’s also worth mentioning that it appears these sale prices only apply to the U.S. App Store.

Konami is having a massive sale discounting every single one of their games to $0.99. No matter what your take on the games, there's definitely deals to be had here. There's no indication how long the sales will last, but it's safe to say that despite any shortcomings every game listed above is worth at least $0.99. ■ Flee from the Farmer, at all costs. Works fine on 3.0

Version: 1.1.2
The latest update finally fixed the issues with the iPhone 3.0 beta. I would like to see more Japanese songs in the future, but doubt that will happen.
Laggy

Version: 1.0.3
It would be good if it weren't so laggy
As Expected

Version: 1.0.3
Great game, with difficulty ranging from begginer to extremely advanced (harder than any other tap-tap crap). Only few issues I have include the necessary addition of a pause button, pausing the game when an out-of-game message appears, and more songs :) (which I'm sure are already on the way). Great job Konami!
Could be a little better.

Version: 1.0.0
This is one of the best apps for the iPhone. Could use some fixing. You should not have to go to the main menu when you get a message. Also if there was an option to use the music in you iTunes library it would make it flawless.
Best music game EVER.

Definitely Worth It!!!

First off, this is a great game! I am a DDR Freak and this was a great find! To not make it so laggy, do a hard reset before you start it, or jailbreak and kill unwanted processes. Thank you so much for putting Konami Originals on this game!!!! Finally not a crappy American version for PS2 that has Britney Spears or Madonna licensed crap. Please, enough of that. Konami Originals are like home to me. J-pop is something I just can't get enough of. The only drawback for me is that the game is a little off-sync. The arrows arrive to early for the music. There should be an option to adjust syncing in the next update. If that were fixed, my review would have gotten 5 stars. Otherwise, this game is definitely worth $7.00. Buy it now! Thank you so much Konami. 573 FTW!!!!! (Konami joke)

A great game! However, song selection is limited and more American songs such as "Dance, Dance" should be added.

i wish it had a retry/end song button. if not a button, a simple 3 finger double tap on the upper section of the screen to end the song/series so i won't have to press the home button to get out when someone interupts my game and have to load it up again.
Need more songs!
DDR is fun
Version: 1.0.3
I don't care, I would pay extra few $ to get more songs! Please update :)

Why did it drop to 4 1/2 stars? It should be a full 5 stars
This App was well-made and will keep you entertained througout.

If you like an eye-hand coordination game, then DDR may just be the game for you. It has more than 20 unlockable characters and songs and are obtainable through achievements of high score an other tasks. Curretly I managed to get 20 songs and 15 characters-- which I'm positive will be more since that were only roughly 50% of the hidden bonuses to uncovered.
This game get a rating of 5 stars from me. The songs were sometime cheesy but mostly great, and the tappings were in great synch--props the Konami. If you're a long time fan of the DDR or just re newcomer who seek a fun and challenging game, then get this game for iPod!
Trust me buy iT!!!

I've been waiting for this for a long time, and it's finally here!!! It's almost perfect it would get a 5star, but if you fix this one and only problem.
1). We can't control who calls,or texts. So everytime someone calls or texts, it (DDR) loses the game there should be a resume option after someone calls or texts us. Please fix this problem then
5stars!!!!

Version: 1.0.3
As a big fan of DDR, I absolutely dig this version for the iPhone & iPod Touch. I love how there's different levels and you can pick your difficulties and unlock characters and songs and modes. The reason why I only gave it 4 stars was because it's missing a pause button during gameplay. I know normally in most DDR games you can't pause when you're in the middle of a song, but it would be nice if it was included in this version. It's annoying when you do have to stop, you either fail the song or start the app all over again. Sometimes it gets a bit frustrating having to do so. Overall, though, the app is awesome and I can't wait for an update. :)

Version: 1.0.3
great game! I look forward to see what new songs i will unlock. hopefully there will be some old classics! but there are a few problems. the biggest one is the fact that there is no pause button when playing a song. i was playing a song when I got a text and it ended the song. it should just pause it momentarily. it really annoyed me. also i do not think it picks up on every tap, as i miss some sometimes when i know for sure i hit the button. sometimes, during gameplay, the notes pause (not intentionally with the music) for a split second and causes me to miss a few notes, maybe a glitch?
but overall i love the game!!!
Five stars and time could make it even better
Wolfen08
Version: 1.0.3
I love the game it's amazeing. But I think there should be songs from previous DDR titles in it and a jukebox mode (just suggestions). Over all the best app I payed for
Awesome but needs more music
Soulrebel89
Version: 1.0.3
I love ddr but come on the songs are too girly !!!! Please update with more original DDR music , but overall game is great !!!
Stays true to the [hard]core
Nikkorz
Version: 1.0.3
Note that this review is catered to those who already are familiar with the DDR franchise. While I was hesitant at first to give this review a 5-star rating, after serious consideration and thoroughly playing the game I can safely say that DDRS does faithfully recreate the true DDR experience on the iPhone.
Great game

UNCMA
Version: 1.0.0
This game wasn't quite what I expected. Don't get me wrong. It IS a good game. However the songs aren't very good. I also think tap tap revenge 2 is a better game. And look at the prices. Seven bucks vs. a free game. Seriously.
Decent, but what's up with the songs?
Bemaniac
Version: 1.0.3
I love DDR, and this game is a great little time waster. I have, however a couple complaints. #1 there doesn't seem to be a setting to adjust the music timing. I find the timing to be a little off. #2 while the game boasts old DDR classics like "Brilliant 2U", the songs and the steps aren't the same. I'd really like to see some of the actual Konami originals from previous games in this one.
Needs more music!!
Awsomekod200
