Een ‘radiozender’ die voor je aangemaakt wordt naar aanleiding van de artiestnaam die je invoert. De zender zoekt er zelf gerelateerde resultaten bij en laat die aan je horen. Er zijn verschillende applicaties die dat trucje beheersen, zoals Deezer en Soundtrackr Radio. Jango Radio Mobile hanteert het principe van je eigen radiokanaal ook, maar laat je nummers en artiesten nog een keer luisteren of juist wegstemmen. Het nadeel van dit soort applicaties is dat de gerelateerde nummers door een computer en aanbevelingen van anderen aan elkaar worden gekoppeld. Als de database van nummers te klein is, kan je de raarste sprongen maken van genre naar genre. En als de database wel groot is, moet je nog maar afwachten of de door de app aangeraden bands je aan staan. Jango geeft de controle aan je terug. I am a long follower and user of deezer...... used it for 2 years now on the website, the smart radio is SUPPOSED to play other bands, thats the point, it plays music from multiple bands thats related to the band you choose..... next time why don't you find out where an app comes from and what its supposed to do, this app does everything that it promises and exactly what the website does, great app!

I've been using Deezer for a while now & was glad to see an app made for the iphone. The app is very buggy (at times I could not even get the smartradio to work). The thing that bothers me the most is not being able to access my playlists. I've uploaded my own mp3s & created playlists on Deezer. It seems that the only time I can access my mp3s is when I turn on the wifi on the iphone. Even then I can't play anything from the playlists that I set up - I get a message saying that I need to subscribe to the playlist even though I created the playlists and I'm using the same log on from the website. Although I found that I can play my mp3s through the "my mp3s" section, I would prefer to play them through the playlists that I created. Bottom line - very buggy, needs an upgrade.

I can't believe how good this is. I typed in a band name and get a variety of great music by other bands I also like. Better than pandora!

The app okay, it only has a few problems. The smartradio will play music from other bands besides the one you are trying to listen to. Please fix this.
