This is a great idea!!

This is a great, easy to use app and the finished product is a high quality, laminated postcard. It could have a few more features, like history and preview, but that might take away from the simplicity of it, so it doesn't bother me so much. What does is how long it takes to receive a card. According to their website, they ship next business day via Usps First-Class mail. If that is true, they should be received in two business days per USPS. That wouldn't be bad. But I have sent two to myself along with the others I sent, and it took seven business days both times. Still not a deal-breaker, but I wouldn't expect anyone to receive your card while your still on vacation.

Great results...laminated postcard...would not necessarily blame shoot it for delayed delivery...our postal service could be the glitch. An outstanding way to share photos

Bought this a few weeks ago and imediately used the first free postcard, still have not received it, WTF? Also being able to preview the card would be nice too.

Very simple. Take picture, submit, and decent quality postcard gets to recipient via regular mail with a note from you. Better than buying a postcard while you're on vacation and less expensive. I'd much rather have a picture of a friend or loved one In the picture on the postcard, then of just the locale like those "bought" postcards we used to send. Took off one star becauce it took 8 days. Except for that it worked as advertised. Request. Would be great if notification confirmation could include preview of card that was sent. So we can keep track of not only who got sent a postcard, but also what got sent. I know I sent aunt lizzy a card but which one did I send her? Maybe a history section in the app itself with that info. Or status date that card actually gets put in the mail(now I'm really reaching)

I want to give this 5 stars. Here's what's holding me back: 1. Doesn't let u register within the app. U have to go to their website. Plus the registration page is not secure, ie, https. I know I checked it several times during the process and decided to chance it nervously. 2. No preview before send. Outrageous. 3. I am assuming the back side of the postcard is blank where all the text goes. No way to custom layout the text with typefaces, fonts, colors, etc. What is it going to look like. 4. I'd like to be able to insert a second smaller image on the back side with the text. Please visit Sendoutcards.com to see what I'm talking about. Templates please. 5. I assume email confirmations upon receipt of order, delivery scheduled, and confirmation email on actual delivery? Or at least some options menu to turn this on or off. I highly recommend those buying this app to get the Art app so you can have a ton of classic art as your postcard front face images. Of course most are going to use their own camera shots, I know.

While on a recent trip, I sent two different pictures (postcards) to numerous people on my Contact List. Everyone received them within a few days as advertised. I was able to see one of the postcards. It was good quality paper with great photo printing, given that the picture came from my iPhone 3Gs. I was also impressed with the amount of space available for a message. I just typed in a few sentences, as if I were sending a regular postcard, but there was plenty of room for more, if I had wanted. Overall, a great app! Thanks for creating it.

Great idea for an app, will be a week tomorrow. I would do these non stop if i got these to my parents (of my 10mo old son) in a short timeframe. Please email me to let me know average time & I'll move to 5 stars if it's a week or so. My name at me or gmai.

I received the free sample, they original picture I took was not perfect, but it looked awesome on the glossy postcard. Everyone was impressed. The support team is WORLD CLASS. I had an issue and was emailing back and forth with tech support in pretty much real time to fix the problem. I then received an inquiry the next day to make sure the issue was resolved and I was happy. The program and company are top notch. Thanks for the help and a great app!!!

I've sent pictures to most of my friends and they said they turn out amazing. Such a good app! Worth the 99 cents.

I just received my first actual shootit card. It looks fabulous, good photo reproduction on high quality glossy card stock. I've sent several and they have been well received. Well worth .99 per card. The app is easy to use with a nice clean interface.

Great idea on this one! Although I was in the middle of typing a message and I got a call and had to redo it, but I think this app is very neat and practical. Worth every penny.

As the title says, this app does not dissapoint. Postcard photo quality is great, well worth the $. The postcard was received in three days and my wife absolutely loved it. And you get a free postcard so the app pays for itself. It would be nice to be able to modify the "To" field so it does not blow in the name in your phonebook, i.e. I dont want to send it to Dad bit rather Bob.

Great App!! Super easy to use & a great way to share my photos with friends. It's really nice to be able to send hard copy pics so easily.

WOW, what a cool APP! Great idea, fun to use and an excellent value. I can imagine lots of uses - photo/message to friends/family from a vacation, sports events, graduations, timely baby/birth announcements, ground breaking photos to share with customers/vendors ... The list goes on and on! With postage near 50 cents and the quality of these post cards, it's a really good value. Congrats to the Shoot it! designers - this is going to be a winner!

I wasn't sure how these would turn out with the iPhone cam, but I'm very impressed. I know my mom will enjoy getting these. More importantly, I can already think of a thousand hilarious uses for when I go out with my friends.

This app is fantastic! I love the how easy it is to shoot a pic and then send a high quality postcard to anyone anywhere. If you have the 3G S it makes it even better with the higher megapixel camera. I highly recomend this app and use it everytime I see a moment that needs to be shared.

This is a must-have for anyone who is social, loves to travel and wants to stay in touch with friends.

What an incredible, easy to use Application!! How fun it is to keep family and friends up to date with these gorgeous laminated photo post cards! The quality of my iPhone photos is amazing, and costs less to send than the greeting cards I used to buy!! Fun to send them to yourself too, so you can see the results of the post cards you are "shooting"! Totally worth the low cost and a fast download time!!

This is a wonderful app, I have been so happy with it! Everyone I know receives postcards from me via Shootit! What a great idea, now I can share my vacations, family events, etc with anyone I want!
