I love Halloween. As kids we anticipated the night we'd canvas the neighborhood in plastic costumes, visiting house after house. Especially that one crazy lady who dressed as a witch and tried her best to scare us. We had fun, but we didn't have iPhones. Today a slew of digital treats lurk inside the App Store. It’s Halloween weekend, and the App Store is full of themed apps that celebrate this fun holiday. From scary soundboards to spooky games and eBooks there are lots of apps around to keep you and your little ones entertained until it’s time to go trick or treating. In fact, there is a featured App Store section for all these titles. There are over 30 in total, including a dozen in a special ‘Picks for Kids’ sub-section. You can find these sections just by going to the Featured area in iTunes or on your iPhone/Touch/iPad and looking for the dark grey backgrounded Halloween banner.
