Now that I've had my iPhone 4S for a couple of days, I'm amazed with what Siri can do. I've asked a number of questions -- real ones, not questions like "What is the meaning of life?" -- and have been totally impressed with how my interaction with the iPhone has changed. But there are more things I'd love to be able to do with Siri, which is the reason for this post. Everyone should understand that Siri is currently a beta product from Apple. A lot of the things I'm talking about here should happen once the product is out of beta and developers are given access to a Siri API. This is my way of letting some iOS developers know that I'd love to see Siri integration in their apps. Here we go: I think that Siri has the ability to become the intelligent agent that the mid-90s MagicCap

WebMD has just launched a new app for the iPad that provides you with all the tools you need to make medical information discovery a breeze. WebMD for iPad resembles the company’s iPhone app, WebMD Mobile, in content, but it completely destroys it in execution. When first launched the app presents you with five categories to choose from: symptom checker, conditions, drugs and treatments, first aid information, and local health listings. Each category brings you into a separate and well thought out page that gets right into answering your medical questions. In landscape mode, the entire left side is dedicated to listing options and items, while the right side displays all of the information you are seeking. In portrait mode, however, the entire page is dedicated to displaying your information with popovers taking over the task of listing options and items. In either view everything is easy to find and very straight

Good but doesn't have everything

Version: 3.3
Great app, but I'm disappointed that I couldn't find something ad basic as 'heat rash' in the app. Had to go out to their full website for this info.
Good

Version: 3.3
It's a good app to use just to get an idea of what symptoms could be a cause of... Not always correct though.
Best app for medical assistance

Thank you for this incredible app!
gives in accurate advice on first aid

Version: 1.2
I have had this app almost a week. I am an ER nurse and thought it would be a nice, simple, quick reference that was free for diseases I come across. This App has outdated information and advice. An example would be for burns. To the makers of the webmd app, why don't you go to a burn center and get the correct info. Burns can be very serious and any advice should be accurate!
It's great!

Just like the web site! Another hit for the company. Puts list of info at "the fingertips" of the patient. Now we can have a more active role on our health!
Terrible

Froze every time. Good idea, bad implanentation.
Ok... But I don't need it.

This requires Internet so I find it useless (I have an iTouch). Also it would be more pleasent if the title page wasn't a naked person.
Nice app but it just crashed everytime

Meh
iphone duke
Version: 1.0
For being merely a portal to their mobile site, it sure does crash a lot. It is somewhat useful, but doesn't have a consistent user interface. Not very Apple-like in design. I expected better, but it is free.
Unable to use
kgold829
Version: 1.0
Unable to see full potential of program as I only got to signs and symptoms page when it froze up. Please fix soon, this may be a great program to have!
Great idea but change human image
Anonymous41909
Version: 1.0
The image of the person in the app and on the icon is a little weird looking. Suggest making it more attractive for the iphone and the sorts of design on the iPhone.
Could Be Better
Digitally Productive
Version: 1.0
It seems like this application was rushed to market. The fact that it's free does not make up for the fact that one third of the app does not work. The First Aid and Drugs & Treatments sections work well enough. The Symptom Checker, on the other hand, not only has a different look than the other sections, but the app crashes right after the first screen. It would have been better to trouble shoot more before releasing this app.
It's Aight....

Version: 1.0
It's a nicely done app that forwards to it's website for detailed additional info, however it kept crashing requiring restarting the phone after install. (Hate apps that do that.)
New version is great!

Version: 1.1
Very stable, and the UI has been improved a bit. This is a very useful app.
Free, but not Functional

After one crash it's worked great for me since! It's a wonderful app to have. Thank You!
Great app. Lots of info
Tizor1976.1
Version: 1.0
Great job on this app. Simple and elegant design. One thing I would like to see, narrower possible results. My wife is a hypochondriac and there were so many results to our search that she got even more worried, LOL. If possible, give us fewer results with more questions after selecting one. But overall a great app that I am sure I will use over and over again
Not Up to Basics

Forget content...resolution/graphics, both poor...type unreadable...icon fuzzy.

I hesitated to download because of some of the brutal reviews. By the time I got through reading them, as much as I wanted to, I thought my iPhone would blow up and burst into flames, lol. I went ahead and downloaded it, something must have been updated because it worked perfectly. It contained more info than I expected and was quick. No crashes, no freezing, no bursting into flames, LOL. I highly reccommend it. For those who had problems. I would suggest giving it another try.
Needs Work but still Great

Version: 1.0
This app is great for anyone who has ever had a quick medical question they needed an answer for. The pill ID feature is very cool and would be great if it showed pictures of the pills. A great amount of info and very fast. I hope WebMD continues to add to it. It does sometimes kick you off and I am sure that will get fixed. Still worth 5 stars for a first draft.
No issues
Bandizzle
Version: 1.0
App is similar to web, have not had any issues as far as freezing or crashing. Would like to see more information on IV meds if possible, gas a lot of potential.
Thanks!
Great App, haven't had any of the problems described below...
Xill
Version: 1.0
I don't know if I'm lucky or haven't done any of the things that may trigger a crash yet, but mine works fine and it is a great app. Would even be worth paying for as far as I'm concerned. I was totally hesitant to download after reading all the bad reviews but ventured forth boldly and I am not disappointed. Maybe they are from competing first aid app developers who are losing business. Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men...but you can find out in the heart section of this app :P
Buggy, crashy, locky...
gotzaiPhone
Version: 1.0
This would be an AMAZING app if it weren't for it crashing and burning with every use. Locks up or crashes waay too much. Needs a bug check.
Great resource....

Version: 1.0
Glad to see it made it's way onto the iPhone! It looks very well thought out and user friendly too. It's great that it includes first aid advice for emergencies.
Could be great
Soljie
Version: 1.0
This application has great potential but needs some fixing . Give us a quick update to fix the crashing , because it also a first aid apps would be good if it doesn't use an Internet connection .
Great idea, bad app

Version: 1.0
Crashed and froze up iPhone for over 10 minutes before I could restart. It might work for others, but it won't be on my phone again.
Wrong Execution
Darron Weis
Version: 1.0
Web MD is my doctor, but this new little doctor they hired is a little too inexperienced and freaky for me right now.
Promising but unstable
ThomyNC
Version: 1.0
At this point the app is too unstable to even get a single question answered. Hence at this point it's almost useless. There is a lot of work left to be done.
I really don't understand the "naked" comments as the picture is appropriate and not detailed for any sexual reference. Are people really THAT prude?
